Early-access interest list
If you join the interest list, we store your normalized email address, submission time, signup source and list status to let you know when accounts open. This does not create an account or subscribe you to unrelated marketing. We confirm receipt in your browser; no confirmation email is currently sent.
The list is private. Short-lived hashed network identifiers help limit repeated submissions and are not attached to your list entry. Contact privacy@followsomeone.com to withdraw your interest or request deletion. We retain your interest until you withdraw, join, or the account-opening invitation process ends, subject to necessary legal retention.
Current availability
Public browsing and discovery are available. Registration and signed-in actions are currently unavailable. Messaging, Meet, subscriptions, Someone Pro billing, Hire, Pay and Paid Access purchases are not currently available. Descriptions of these capabilities apply only when they are enabled; their appearance in a profile or policy is not an offer to transact.
Account-related descriptions below explain how implemented features handle information when available. They do not mean that registration, commerce or private messaging is currently open.
Someone is for people age 18 or older. Users under 18 may not create or use an account. The signup eligibility form uses a submitted date of birth to check this rule without storing it in an account or database. This is self-reported eligibility, not identity or third-party age verification.
Account and public information
When accounts are enabled, Someone uses an account identifier, handle, display name, actor type, profile details, links, interests and selected discovery preferences to provide the service. Actors may be people, creators, journalists, professionals, businesses, publications or organizations.
Public profile fields, public posts and replies, and public engagement counts can be seen by others. Content visibility affects where content appears. Profile presence does not establish verified identity. Only publish information you intend to share. Media and external image links may involve the host serving that media.
Interactions, discovery and ranking
Someone processes follows, likes, replies, reposts and bookmarks to provide those features. Search uses the query you submit to find public people; no search-history product is currently implemented.
For You and people discovery use signals including follows and interactions, interests inferred from engagement and hashtags, content freshness, conversation activity, and diversity and discovery signals. Blocks, mutes, reports and content/account restrictions can affect eligibility for recommendations. Anonymous browsing does not use a signed-in personal history.
Pro, payments, revenue and subscriber count do not buy organic ranking. The network does not promise a particular reach. This disclosure does not publish scoring weights.
Saved and relationship privacy
Saved/bookmarks are private to the account holder; saving something is not a public endorsement. Someone may use bookmark interactions as a personalization signal without publishing the Saved list.
Subscribers identifies people subscribing to an actor; Subscriptions identifies actors a user subscribes to. The relevant customer or actor owner can access their authorized relationship records. Subscriber identities and private billing records are not public lists by default.
Private messages and requests
Direct messages are private to participants, subject to relevant safety reports, moderation and lawful-process handling. Administrators do not have a universal private-message reader. No end-to-end encryption promise is made here.
When messaging is enabled, Someone stores conversations, messages, message-request state and participant read state to operate the inbox. Pending requests do not produce read receipts before acceptance. Blocks and privacy settings control access. No dedicated message-reporting interface is currently available; you may report a concern to safety@followsomeone.com. Do not assume a moderator has read a conversation.
Trust, moderation and verification
Block, mute and report records support safety and feed exclusions. Reports include a target, reason and review status. Authorized administrators review relevant reported information and record moderation actions; reporter identity is not part of public profile or post output.
Public verification is a status, not publication of internal review evidence, reviewer identity or private review notes. Verification and Pro entitlement are separate records.
Subscriptions, Pro and conditional payments
The implemented subscription and Pro foundations retain relationship or entitlement status, effective dates and limited external references when supplied by authorized integrations. Those records are not payment credentials.
Paid Access and payment integrations are not available for purchase today. Future enabled transactions may require order, support and fulfillment metadata, with the actual provider and terms disclosed before purchase. Someone’s public pages do not expose card details, bank information or payment credentials.
Technical information and service providers
Hosting and delivery providers process technical request information such as network address, request URL, browser information and error/security logs to deliver and protect the site. Requests for externally hosted media also reach the relevant host.
The current application has no advertising pixels, client analytics tracker or historical profile-view analytics product. Interaction records used for service functions and ranking are distinct from advertising tracking. See Cookies for browser-storage details.
Information may be handled by providers needed for hosting, content delivery and, when enabled, identity or payment services. Someone may disclose relevant information where required or permitted by law, for lawful process, or to address abuse and protect people.
Retention, removal and choices
You can use available controls to edit profile information, remove your posts or bookmarks and manage follows, blocks and message settings when signed-in features are enabled. These controls are currently unavailable while registration is unavailable. Removing a post from display is not a promise of immediate physical erasure of all records.
No fixed retention schedule or self-service account-erasure tool has been published. Retained records may be needed to operate enabled services, address disputes or abuse, or comply with lawful preservation duties. Removing information from public display does not necessarily erase all retained records.
Send privacy, access, correction, deletion and account/privacy requests to privacy@followsomeone.com. General account help is available at support@followsomeone.com. Include enough information to identify the account or request, but do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive documents. Verification of your authority to make a request may be needed.
