Reporting availability
The implemented reporting system accepts account and post reports, including reply posts. It is not currently available to the public while signed-in actions are unavailable. A dedicated message-reporting interface and automated appeal tool are not available.
When in-app reporting is available, identify the profile, post or reply, explain the concern and include relevant context for impersonation, abuse or other safety issues. You can also send safety concerns, including concerns about messages, to safety@followsomeone.com. Keep relevant details private and include only what is needed for review. Do not publicly repost private conversations as a substitute for reporting.
Review
Authorized administrators review reports within their assigned permissions, comparing relevant evidence with the policies and considering severity and context. They do not have a universal private-message reader. Reports are not a guarantee of a particular outcome or response time.
Possible outcomes
Depending on the situation and available mechanisms, outcomes may include no action, a warning, content removal, feature restriction, temporary suspension or permanent termination. Records may be preserved, and matters may be referred to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law. These are policy options, not a claim that each has a dedicated automated tool.
Severe exploitation, threats, fraud or repeated violations can justify stronger action. Moderation does not transfer ownership of user content or authorize rewriting a user’s words.
Reconsideration
There is no automated appeals tool. Users may request reconsideration of content removal, feature restriction, suspension or termination by contacting support@followsomeone.com.
A request should identify the affected account or content, the action challenged, the reason it may be mistaken and relevant supporting information. Do not include passwords or unrelated private information. No reconsideration deadline or response time is promised.
