Cookies

A clear view of browser storage in the current public service.

آخر تحديث: 18 سبتمبر 2026

Current application behavior

Someone uses essential first-party cookies for login sessions and short-lived authentication, verification and signup flows. Session cookies are Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax; server-side session records bind access to the authenticated account. It does not use local storage for advertising profiles or a client analytics tracker. A separate someone_ads cookie records your advertising opt-in or opt-out; Google advertising code is not loaded unless you opt in on an eligible United States public discovery page. Google may use cookies for frequency limits and aggregated ad reporting even with non-personalized ads.

Delivery and external resources

The hosting and delivery layer processes requests to serve and protect the site. External media hosts may receive request information when your browser loads their resources. Browser caching can retain site resources. These functions are distinct from an advertising pixel.

Language, time zone and your choices

someone_lang remembers a language you pick from the language menu (essential: it is set only when you ask for it). someone_region and someone_zone remember a region (for date and number formats) and a time zone you pick in Language & region settings (essential: set only when you choose them). someone_consent records your cookie and privacy choices (essential). someone_tz stores your time-zone name, such as Europe/Paris, so times show in your local time; it is set only if you allow Preferences, and removed if you withdraw that choice.

Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked before any optional storage is used; elsewhere Preferences start on and can be turned off. Analytics is off everywhere and no analytics script is loaded. Advertising is off by default everywhere and is unavailable outside the United States. You can review or change your choices at any time at /privacy/choices, linked from every page footer.

Managing storage

Your browser lets you manage cookies, cached resources and site storage. Blocking essential cookies prevents login and can interrupt signup or verification. Any new optional storage or client analytics tool will be described here and will not run without the matching choice.
